Product Sourcing
We source products for our customers from the best manufacturer, following a careful quality control procedure to get the best results. The product sourcing has different services that help our clients have peace of mind. We use the standard internationally recognized ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1) statistical sampling procedure during the inspections. This procedure accounts for overall appearance, dimension, functionality, durability, and performance.
- a) Pre-production inspectionThis inspection is realized before production starts, ensuring the appropriate handling and use of the incoming material. Tooling and analyzing the manufacturing process is possible to prevent defects and get the best quality of the product.
- b) Initial Production InspectionYou can order an initial production inspection at the beginning of the production. This is a valuable tool to confirm that the seller understands our customers’ requirements, as well as the specified standards like quality, method, materials and other aspects. The client has the option of asking the seller to improve the product in case any issues occur.
- c) Pre-Shipment InspectionThis service is an inspection of products selected randomly from all the various sections of your order. Usually this is conducted when the production is around 80% completed. You have the opportunity to take appropriate action before the production is finished, and you make your final payments.
- d) Container Loading InspectionThis service involves an inspection of the product on the day it is loaded to be sent. The whole loading process is supervised to ensure that the product meets your standards and that the correct quantity is loaded.It usually takes place in the factory, when the products are loaded in container(s). The objective is to ensure that the right kind of goods is shipped out. The inspector also verifies the quantity of the product to make sure the product is packaged correctly and placed safely into the container. At the end of the inspection, a proper seal closes the container before the products are driven away from the factory.This is also a valuable check to conduct before a bill of lading is issued, as this is the usually one of the documents required by banks for payment of letters of credit.
New Product Development
We are able to develop new products for our customers from prototype to production. We recommend that our clients first do a trademark search and/or consult a patent attorney; we will not knowingly source a product that would infringe on another company’s patents or trademarks. Before developing a new product, you need to consider the following:
- The product must be engineered, prototyped, and tested to ensure that it performs as needed. Not prototyping your product is a costly mistake that can result in a shipment of defective parts.
- After you have tested a fully functioning prototype, it is time to do some market research.
- You might consider having a final prototype or two made if your customers want to see an updated version.
- Have the artwork for your packaging made.
- Now you are ready to go to production. We will source a factory for you to make the production run and get you a quote on the final packaged product.
